Absolutely! There is only one stop with seafood and we can substitute in another tasting.
Would you recommend doing the Vallarta Downtown tour and The Street tour on the same day?
We have yet to have someone take both in the same day and we wouldn’t recommend it. Many of our guests in the daytime tour are not hungry until the next day. There is a lot of food in each tour.
What is your cancellation policy for tours booked in advance?
We want our guests to have a great time on their vacation. If something comes up we will give a full refund if we are contacted 48 hours before the tour. Even then, if someone is ill before the tour we will also give a full refund even at the last minute. We want our guests to have no worries!
Is there a discount if we take more than one tour?
Yes, we do offer discounts for multiple tours. After you book the first tour let us know of your interest and we will send you a coupon code for the second.
Can a private tour be done for a group of 10?
Absolutely. We have had private groups up to 24. Our policy is that for groups over eight we will have two guides and, if more than 20, we will join the tour as well to ensure a great experience. If you need for us to give you a private link for a private tour, you can email us vallartafoodtours@gmail.com.
My son is in a wheelchair and my granddaughter is in a stroller. Can we still go?
Yes. It can be a challenge because of the streets of Vallarta but we are happy to have you guys on our tour!
How far is it to walk to the meeting location from Holland America cruise terminal?
It’s not walking distance but its a short cab or bus ride. It would take about 15 minutes.
Two of us will be there on a cruise for one day. Naturally, that appears to be the one day you are closed. Do you accommodate any kind of special private tours for your off days?
Yes! If you send us an email at vallartafoodtours@gmail.com we can accommodate with no additional charge to you. Enjoy your cruise of the Mexican Riviera!
Can you tell me which tour has the most variety of foods? Not just tacos?
Downtown and Pitillal has many different dishes and the Street is mostly tacos at night.
I am a vegetarian, who happens to eat fish. Would the Pitillal tour be difficult to accomodate to my diet?
It is more difficult than our downtown tour. We definitely can but we would substitute three out of the seven tastings.
